International Summer Carnival

The city of Čapljina is

the only city in B&H which is a member of the association of carnival cities in Europe. Every year this carnival attracts carnival groups from all over Europe. The summer period, in which it is held, makes it more attractive and varied. For this reason, the carnival reminds at some instances of some similar world carnivals. After the carnival processions, the party usually ends with a concert in the Central Square where there is a masquerade singing and dancing until early in the morning.
