Ljubuško Silo

The event is a gathering in Ljubuški, organized every year by the Ljubuško silo and sponsored by the Town Council. It is the most rhapsodic and playful folklore and ethnic event in Herzegovina, turning into a traditional regional manifestation. The event starts with a ceremonial procession through the town with a brass band and majorettes. The central part of the program is held every year in another location within the municipality. For that day, a special edition of the Folk almanac (Pučki godišnjak) is issued, containing all the old customs of the Herzegovina people.
