Medjugorje Local Events

There are special days of celebration in Medjugorje that you should be sure to check out. These include 24th June (day of the Peace March), 25th June (Anniversary of Our Lady's Apparitions), July for the International Music Festival, and the annual Youth Prayer Meeting during July/August. 19th Peace March

In 2010, June 24^th is the Feast of St. John The Baptist. Join us in singing and prayer as we walk together with villagers and pilgrims through the spiritual surroundings. This event is also known as the Peace March.

International Summer Carnival

Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross - Krizevac

Place: Celebrated in Medjugorje

Every year since 1934, on the first Sunday after the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, a holy Mass is celebrated on Krizevac. Krizevac is a hill of peace and reconciliation. Join the villagers in a beautiful Mass celebration, also once mainly leaded by decided Father Slavko.

Prayer, fasting and silence seminar
