As already announced air carrier BH AIRLINES in cooperation with Mostar Airport introduces new route between Mostar (OMO) and Stuttgart (STR). New route will be operated with AT72 (maximum capacity of 66 passengers) as of June 10, 2008. with two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Croatian Rail Network

The Croatian rail network connects all major Croatian cities, except Dubrovnik. There are direct lines to Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro. We recommend arrival in Split if you come by rail from other countries and want to connect by bus to Medjugorje.

Ferry Lines

Popular international crossings by Cruise Ferries, Blue Line International, between Italy and Croatia run from Ancona to Split. The ferry includes an a la carte restaurant, self-service restaurant, casino, lounge bar, children’s playroom, duty free shops, drivers' lounge, reception lounge, chapel and open deck bar. The daily departures at 21:00 arrive at 06:00.

The Snav Ferry is a high speed boat company which crosses the Adriatic between Pescara, Ancona, Croatia and Split. They transport passengers as well of cars, coaches, motorcycles, campervans, and boats on wheeled carriages. Between June and September transfers take only 4 hours. Our local partner can book the Blue Line & Snav ferry tickets.

By rail you can reach Mostar and Capljina within 2.5 hours (from Sarajevo). Check the website for the timetable. From Mostar there are buses every hour to Medjugorje, the buses from Capljina are a bit less frequent.
