Zdravo! Welcome to Medjugorje /day 1 & 2

Since 1981, in a small village in Bosnia-Hercegovina named Medjugorje, the Blessed Virgin Mary has been appearing and giving messages to the world. She has come to earth to re-educate us and to help us convert and recenter our lives back to God. Our Lady’s role has always been one of guiding people to Her Son, Jesus.  The surroundings of Medjugorje, Herzegovina / day 3

Počitelj that is a real, open-air museum and a much cherished place by various artists who, in this miraculous scenery, and inspiration for their works of art. This unique settlement is listed as a UNESCO heritage site.

Žitomislić is а monastery of the Serb Orthodox Church located near Mostar. This orthodox monastery, built in 1566 was one of the most important orthodox monasteries of Herzegovina in the 16th century, and dedicated to the Annunciation of the most holy mother of God.

Blagaj has always been a place visited for its beauty, fascinating nature and history that can be felt at any moment. Unique atmosphere at the source of the river Buna, the peace of the Dervish House and the fresh waters of Buna make it a truly special place.

Mostar,  also famously called the city where the North meets the South and the West meets the East, It is a city of poetry, stone and narrow streets An exceptional town because of its dwellings and monuments, we guide you through these sites for this half-day of history and culture.

 Republic Serbia - Trebinje / day 4

Trebinje is famous for its magnificent churches and monasteries. As a Serbian town in Bosnia and Herzegovina Trebinje represents a lot of significant objects of Orthodox culture. One of the most important Serbian monasteries is Tvrdos. It was built in the IV-V centuries .                                                                             Trebisnjica river about 5 km from Trebinje.

Montenegro / day 5 & 6

 Perast This small and unique picturesque place in the Bay of Kotor, with preserved ancient architecture, is located near the famous island - Our Lady of the Rocks

Kotor The most visited Old City of Kotor is one of the Top 5 tourist attractions of Montenegro. Complete miraculous atmosphere, will surely leave you breathless.

Budva Fully dedicated to tourists and tourism, with a large number of attractions, of which the Old Town of Budva is certainly one of the must visit.

Saint Stefan The most luxurious tourist complex in Montenegro, visited by a large number of celebrities, Sveti Stefan is an icon of Mediterranean tourism.

Dubrovnik is World Heritage Listed for good reason. On the tour you will approach Dubrovnik from the surrounding hills giving you a beautiful vantage point of this medieval city.

Dalmatian coast Split & Trogir /day 8

The City of Split is the largest Dalmatian city and port. 1700 years ago, during the time of Ancient Rome, it was founded on the Marjan Peninsula surrounded by the historical towns of ancient Salona and Trogir.

In Trogir the orthogonal street plan of this island settlement dates back to the Hellenistic period and it was embellished by successive rulers with many fine public and domestic buildings and fortifications. Its beautiful Romanesque churches are complemented by the outstanding Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period.

Itinerary

Day 1              AIRPORT ARRIVAL – Medjugorje

Take your luggage and meet your tour escort and driver with a sign of your name. Depart with your tour escort whom on the way will introduce you to Medjugorje shrine and detailed itinerary.

Day 2              MEDJUGORJE

After your breakfast at the hotel meet your guide.

09.00 – 10.00 Introduction around St. James church by guide-Visit St. James Church, the outside Altar, Statue of our Blessed Lady, Statue of St. Leopold and Confessionals

10.00 – 11.00 Join daily English-speaking Mass

11.00 – 13.00 With a guide climb Apparition Hill where the young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. As you climb, you can see the inspired beauty of the bronze plaques depicting each mystery of the rosary and pray before the cross that commemorates the spot where Our Lady appeared.

Free time for lunch

18 – 20 Join evening prayer program

20 – 21 Adoration of the most blessed Sacrament

Day 3              HERZEGOVINA TOUR

 

8.00 Breakfast at the hotel. 09.00 Departure to Pocitelj. 09.30 As you arrive start the tour walking through the streets of Počitelj wich is an experience not to be missed.

Drive on  the magnificent new road along the Neretva river we will stop for visit the Serbian Orthodox Christian Monastery of the Annunciation of the Mother of God.

On the same road we will make a brief stop for refreshment in Blagaj that lies on the source of the Buna River and is one of the largest and most beautiful in Europe. Buna River is the finest example of an underground karst river.

Arrive to Mostar. We guide you through these sites for this half-day of history and culture. The tour's city sights include: The Franciscan Church of St. Peter and Paul, A beautiful stone Bridge, The Old Bazaar, the Turkish House, one of the many old Mosques
After the guided tour of the town you will have some free-time for strolling around, browsing among the many old craft shops or having lunch in one of the picturesque local restaurants.

18 – 20.00 Join the daily evening prayer program at St. James church

Dinner & overnight in Medjugorje

Day 4              MEDJUGORJE - TREBINJE - BUDVA

 Departure after breakfast through picturesque mountains towards the Trebinje. When you enter Trebinje you will immediately notice the church   the Hercegovacka (Herzegovina)Gracanica. It is located on the high Crkvina Hill and literally hovers over the town. On yur arrival meet your local guide in Trebinje.

Have lunch at the wonderful Restaurant under their popular high trees Balvani Afternoon continue to Montenegro, Budva

Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Budva. Located centrally.

Day 5              Perast – Kotor - Old Royal Montenegro – Budva

Meeting with the guide at the hotel and drive along the bay. Stop at Perast for short sightseeing. Continuing to Kotor. In Kotor we will visit:

o Clock Tower

o Flour Square with Pima and Buca palaces

o St Tryphon Cathedral with short guided tour of the Cathedral

o The Bokelian Navy Square with Karampana

o The St Luke Square with St Luke and St Nikola churches

o St Mary of the River (the blessed Ozana)

o Northern Gate with Skurda river

From Kotor we will continue to Budva, take a short city tour through the old town. Here we will visit:

City Walls

o The square of Poets

o Clock Tower

o The Square of Old City Churches

o St Trinity Church

o City Harbor

o Open air stage

After the sightseeing of Budva we head towards Saint Stefan region. You will walk from Przno to Saint Stefan Island through the parks and forests, experience magnificent views and see kings beach and the Island of Saint Stefan.

Afterwards we continue back to your hotel where you will have dinner. Overnight in Budva.

Day 6  BUDVA - DUBROVNIK

Early departure from Montenegro to Mlini. Take a boat tour to Elafiti island, the 3 popular island around Dubrovnik Lunch on the boat. In the evening guided tour of Old city of Dubrovnik.

Although severely damaged by an earthquake in 1667, Dubrovnik managed to preserve its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. Damaged again in the 1990s by armed conflict, it is now the focus of a major restoration program coordinated by UNESCO.

Afternoon departure by bus to Hotel by the beach.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel. .

Day 7  DUBROVNIK -  TROGIR SPLIT

 8.00 After breakfast depart towards Split. 13.00 Arrive in Split for Lunch - optional a lovely Restaurant by the beach.

 14.00 Guided tour of Split

We will stroll the narrow streets of Diocletian’s Palace, built by the 4th century Roman Emperor, tour its excellently preserved basement galleries and visit the old Temple of Jupiter in the central, ancient Peristyle Square, today the city Cathedral and the oldest building of its kind in the world. We will also pass the protected Golden and Silver Gates, walk through the historical squares to the lively markets and Riva, the ideal place for strolling and shopping..

 Afternoon depart for Trogir lovely small old town by the beach, 30 minutes from Split city)

Arrive Trogir , an remarkable example of urban continuity.

20.00 Dinner at the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Trogir.

 Day 8 FLIGHT BACK HOME

Breakfast at the hotel Enjoy the beach of Adriatic for your last day, feel the sun and Mediteran air.
